Review // Sip Coffee & Beer Kitchen
I personally already love Sip Coffee & Beer Garage and go there all the time. When I heard Sip was opening a third location by my work, I was absolutely ecstatic.
When I first walked in, I immediately fell in love with the white and blue murals. With one of them saying “#SipportLocal” and another saying “Wish You were Beer” (for reference, I always wish you were beer!) the works were creative and inviting. Unlike the other Sip locations, this Sip achieves a cleaner, sleeker aesthetic, and strives to be more of a restaurant than a coffeehouse.
Since I came before the grand opening, I sampled a few items off their limited menu. I first tried an Iced Chai and a Turkey BLT. As always, my drink was excellent, and the Turkey BLT tasted great with their signature sauce oozing with every bite. They also served a great helping, so bring your appetite!
Next I tried the Orange Poppyseed Salad with Apple and Candied Walnuts. The chicken tasted fresh – not rubbery at all- and I was told it was made to order unlike how other restaurants serve the chicken out of a microwave! I actually tasted the difference! I even ended up meeting Chef Nate, the head chef of Sip, whose diverse culinary background made sure to shine through on the dishes I tasted.
Finally, I tasted the flourless brownie that was sourced from Super Chunk’s (another one of my favorite eateries) and I gobbled it up before I could even take a picture. Welcome to this side of town, Sip! She Forks PHX is happy you’re here!
