Getaways // NYC
NYC is filled with so much to do and so much to see, it can be overwhelming! But armed with my Verizon Google Clips and Verizon Google Pixel 2, my friends and I were ready to chronicle our explorations!
I am obsessed with pink and green foods. I was excited to go to Cha Cha Matcha, and try their Divine Drink, a rainbow mixed drink that included three types of non-dairy milk! I added matcha, for extra energy, and the drink was delicious! And the pink decor? Absolutely adorable!
We explored the streets of Nolita and found spectacular street art, just from walking around. I'm glad I had my Verizon Google Clips to capture the walks, in the moment. Before we knew it, my Verizon Fitbit Ionic indicated that we had walked over 6,000 steps!
This picture, taken with the Verizon Pixel 2, is one of my favorite pictures of all time! I love the colors and the sharpness of the picture, and I can't believe I was able to take it from my phone!
Eventually, we got hungry and decided to go to Charley St. - a healthy eats place that served up delicious food with avocado, like their OG Avo Smash and Aussie Classic. The fresh and tasty avocado was the superfood we needed to get through the day.
At this point we needed a pick-me-up and stopped at a tea shop called Urban Backyard, with a cute, coffee welcome sign at the entrance. Their Honey Rose tea came with fresh rose buds. They also specialized in miniature, succulent cupcakes the size of macarons!
We encountered street art at every turn. By the end of the day, my trusty Verizon Fitbit Ionic said we had walked 15,656 steps, or about 6 miles! What an awesome day!
