Bestie Road Trip to Bryce Canyon
My best friend, Andy (@theandrewsuba), and I, took a bestie road trip to Bryce Canyon! Coming from Phoenix, Arizona, and there were lots of cool stops along the way to Bryce Canyon, including Montezuma’s Castle, Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona, and tons of eateries in Kanab, Utah. We worked in collaboration with Bryce Canyon County to make this trip a success.
We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn, with adjoining rooms, complimentary breakfast, and the biggest gift store in the area - complete with a mini grocery-convenience store. Speaking of convenience, the Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn, is only a couple of miles from the Bryce Canyon park entrance! It was only a few minutes drive to the park, and we had no trouble getting in with my official National Parks pass.
Once we were inside the park, we went exploring. First, we stopped at Sheep Creek, a fun mini-trail with lots of pinecones. Then we drove to the Natural Bridge. The Natural Bridge’s arch was formed by ice, instead of shaped by water, which makes it not only picturesque, but unique in its own right. We drove up in elevation to Inspiration Point, which gives an epic view of the world’s largest collection of hoodoos, and was absolutely stunning. Finally, we ended our drive at Sunrise & Sunset Point / Rim Trail, which bestowed brilliant colors during sunset at Bryce Canyon. We had a blast and can’t wait to go back to Bryce Canyon!
