Event // Arizona Taco Festival
With rainy clouds on the Saturday morning of Arizona Taco Festival. I was afraid Sunday would be rained out. But greeted with sunshine and blue skies, we were ready to visit this Taco-utopia!
We had VIP tickets and the lounge did not disappoint! With its own bar, comfortable couches, and food catered by TacoCat, we were able to come in and out as we pleased. I highly recommend VIP tickets if you plan to attend next year.
We had 20 tokens to try tacos and we felt wealthy in the land of over 50 tacos to choose from! The long line at Taste of Korea was worth it for their Asian-inspired bulgogi tacos and pork tacos. We also tried tacos by Chopped Champion, Chef Laura Gonzalez, and her Jerk Beef taco with pickled hibiscus and mango relish was a mouthful of flavor. We even had Elote from TacoCat and prickly pear tacos from Nitro Love Ice Cream! It truly was a festival filled with love and tacos.
